The Demonstration Garden
The Master Gardener Association maintains a Demonstration Garden at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds on Route 151 in Falmouth. Master Gardener volunteers gather each week during the growing season to plant and tend this garden for the benefit of the general public. The garden includes extensive vegetable plantings along with herbs, perennial flowers, and berry bushes. All produce is donated to local food banks.
The Demonstration Garden is open daily to the public during the Barnstable County Fair, July 22 - July 28, 2024. Tour the recently renovated beds and chat with master gardener volunteers during the following hours:
Monday, July 22 - Thursday, July 25 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Friday, July 26 - Sunday, July 28 12:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Evenings in the Garden - Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
This summer there will be topical discussions and tours of the garden once a month.
