"Autumn Joy"

Saturday, October 2, 2021

10:00 am to 11:30 am - Open to the public.

The Master Gardeners of Cape Cod will once again offer an information-filled celebration of gardening with our annual Autumn Joy program on Saturday, October 2 at 10:00 am - 11:30 am. The main speakers will be Mike and Angelina Chute speaking on Six Simple Steps to Successful Rose Gardening. The program will include pre-recorded breakout sessions by local master gardeners speaking on Pollinator Pathway Cape Cod: How to make your garden a stop for our native pollinators by Gary Bowden and Sustainable Gardening through Permaculture: Design guidelines that harmonize with nature by Tom Farkas.

The Chutes tell us it’s easy to grow beautiful roses in your home garden once you know how. Six Simple Steps to Successful Rose Gardening explains everything you need to know in six easy to follow steps that take the mystery out of rose gardening. They will also share plenty of tips and personal anecdotes from more than twenty-five years of rose gardening experience that demonstrate how to grow great roses. Six Simple Steps to Successful Rose Gardening shows you how to grow roses better than you ever thought you could.

Because we are unsure of the possibility of gathering in a large group this fall our program will be offered online. The registration fee is $20. Beginning September 8 you can register at https://mastergardenerscapecod.square.site.
