The Demonstration Garden at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds

The Master Gardener Association maintains a Demonstration Garden at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds on Route 151 in Falmouth. Master gardener volunteers gather each week during the growing season to plant and tend this garden for the benefit of the general public. The garden includes extensive vegetable plantings along with herbs, berry bushes, annual and perennial flower beds, native plants, and shade gardens. All produce is donated to local food banks.

The Demonstration Garden is open daily to the public during the Barnstable County Fair, held annually at the end of July. Stop by and tour the recently renovated beds and chat with master gardener volunteers during Fair hours at the end of July. Talks are scheduled daily in the garden on a variety of topics.
